OVER 100MORE examples of Fox News Bias at www.youtube.com Even Fox News recognizes the big gap between the opinions of Republicans and the opinions of Democrats when it comes to President Barack Obama’s attempt to get health care insurance reform, particularly when it comes to the “public option” or, as Fox News calls it, the “government run aspect,” but Fox News may actually have significant responsibility for this Republican opinion gap as I show in this video You can find the full text of HR 3200, the health care bill passed in the the US House of Representatives, to which I refer in this video at thomas.loc.gov The two clips of Fox News pollster Frank Luntz and his focus group feedback graphs come from Fox News’ August 19, 2009, broadcast of “America’s Newsroom” which I have not been able to find online. You can see more of MSNBC’s August 18, 2009, broadcast of “The Rachel Maddow Show” from which I took two short clips from my video on YouTube at www.youtube.com The two clips of Steve Doocy and Gretchen Carlson come from Fox News’ August 18, 2009, broadcast of “Fox and Friends” which I have not been able to find online. And, finally, as always, you can find DOZENS and DOZENS more examples of Fox News bias on my Fox News bias playlist on YouTube at www.youtube.com

    @robinhoodOO7,
    Coercion is a myth??? Interesting. So when the government locks people in jail for the rest of their life for not paying taxes, that’s just a vacation?

    Is the FDA just a figment of my imagination?

    Do you really think our government is capable of setting up a health care insurance program that will magically break even without imposing any debt onto future tax payers? The government didn’t create a 13 trillion dollar national debt by being a responsible book keeper.

    To even give you the benefit of the doubt would assume your statements are mere intellectual masterbation, but there is nothing intellectual there. You associate economics with fantastical ideas you can’t show proof of, only baseless assumptions. Regulation doesn’t necessarily mean coercion. Analogy: If I as a person break a law, I may be fired from my job or go to jail, is this coercion? Similarly with laws and regulations re FDA. Your associates degree in Econ isn’t helping.

  3. truthadvocate Says:

    @robinhoodOO7,
    Being fired from your job is not coercion. A voluntary exchange of labor for money requires both parties to consent. As soon as one party does not consent, a voluntary exchange can no longer exist. You can quit. Your employer can quit.

    Regulation is not coercion if the regulation is followed voluntarily. But regulation in the United States is not followed voluntarily. It is force upon people. That’s coercion.

    You’re being absurd and misrepresenting my point out of this absurdity.
    There are laws and regulations that Americans as citizens must follow and obey. IE paying taxes. Not paying your taxes is irresponsible, and a consequence exists, one that everyone is aware of. This is not coercion.
    You’re fabricating details, and making up definitions out of your own fantastical beliefs. It’s almost unAmerican, and very much so sad.

  5. truthadvocate Says:

    @robinhoodOO7,
    According to merriam-webster, One of the main definitions for “coerce” is to achieve by force or threat. That certainly applies to regulation. People in the government want others to behave a certain way. They achieve their desired objective by threatening the people with fines (theft), arrest (kidnapping), and imprisonment (forcing people into a cage).

    What does “unAmerican” mean? I’m not following the herd?

  12. Azotadeth Says:

    Well, that gives a little insight into the “public option” thing there, which I didnt know much about at all.
    As for Fox News, screw them, they invent a new truth every single time their infimally little heads cannot wrap around an unfamiliar topic or situation, most of them there ignore the difference in the health care propositions mentioned here, and I have my doubts theyd get it if they were smacked in the face with it.

    Republicans and Tea Baggers are shills for the multimillion-dollar Insurance interests as well as the “Old Money” Oligarchy that together choke the shit out of regular Americans, ruining the economy at our expense. If you can think for yourself, you have reached the same conclusion independently.

    @FulinYu Hahahahaha You mean Obama forcing everyone to buy health insurance from Health Insurance companies is not?

  17. davijeph Says:

    It’s amazing how many Americans are happy to deny their fellow citizens the “right” to health care yet seem to have the Bible as their favourite book. Please don’t tell me universal health care is not mentioned in the Bible, neither are stealth bombers but you seem happy to pay for them

  19. jaynbond Says:

    As an American now living in Ireland I can tell you that the US is a laughing stock. The corporate media won’t tell you that. They can’t beleive how quickly Americans are to abandon the fellow citizens in times of need.

    I think you have soo much solid evidence, that you could take faux news to court for misleading the public into being terrified. Isn’t that a form of terrorism.

    @Animehound1 The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics 62 million fellow men dead! the Peoples’ Republic of China, 35 million of your fellow man DEAD, and the National Socialist German Workers’ Party, 21 million of your fellow Man DEAD. Socialism destroyed cows, chickens, sheep, and grain-fields by the millions, and then it killed humans, who were treated like animals too. If you cared about your fellow man you would not call yourself a socialist. You need to Learn some history stop being a drone!

  22. Animehound1 Says:

    @guthunk So with your logic Its a bad thing for me to give a rats ass about anyone worse off than I (or anyone other than myself for that matter). Im sorry but If it was a CEO making tens of millions of dollars, that money would be going to help my fellow Americans not into my private bank account where it will sit uselessly.

    In every civilised western country these days we have health care.
    In the eyes of the rest of the western world the USA is basically in the dark ages in this respect.
    A government should take care of it’s population Health care is pretty important for that.
