Hear, But Not See: Hearing Aids Go Tiny

Tiny hearing aids that are all but invisible have people reveling in their sound. The AP’s Lee Powell says that includes younger wearers who avoided hearing aids because of their bulk and negative image. (July 27)

    Huh? What? Speak up! Stop mumbling. I can’t hear a damned thing you’re saying. Why am I yelling? I’m not yelling. Why is the TV so loud? Hearing aid? I don’t need one of those freaky things hanging off my ears. Huh? What are you saying? Looks likes these invisible hearing aids will make a difference for those with hearing losses. Lots of us have gaps in the hearing frequency band, especially the high end. Can these be frequency selective, so that we hear what we hear & get a boost were we can’t?
